Meet Our Life Coach Jamilah Stanifield
Hi! My name is Jamilah Stanfield and I’m the owner of Lilies and Sparrows Life Coaching, DBA!
After earning a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, my education continued in the most unexpected ways. I became a military wife and gave birth to three amazing children!
Still, like many of you, my road was not mapped out with “easy-to-follow” directions. Occasionally, I got lost, took some wrong turns, had a few flat tires, and didn’t always get my scheduled tune-ups. Thankfully, along my journey, I encountered some amazing “mechanics.” Not only did those “mechanics” help fix my car, but they also taught me how to change my own flat-tires and schedule routine-care. Now, I’m an advocate for routine self-care—it can prevent you from “crashing” and can literally save lives!
The more self-discovery I did, and work experience I gained as a mental health therapist, the more passionate I became about the value of positive mindset growth.
I’ve worked as a therapist and volunteer wellness coach for more than eight years with military wives, service-members, and civilians. I’m passionate about sharing resources and motivating others to discover and implement self-care, self-love, and self-determination.
