We convene and uphold women who have suffered from long-standing racial and economic disparities, those who struggle with depression, social isolation, the challenges of parenting, mental health conditions, housing insecurity, domestic abuse, and any other life struggle that results from social and economic exclusion. These women have suffered from a lifetime of societal inequity, and yet they persevere. They are an inspiration to all and need to be uplifted.
